We built Stopover to help you plan trips. Using it means you agree to what's below — we've kept it short.
Your data. We don't sell your data. We use it internally to troubleshoot problems you report and to otherwise improve the service. Your data is transmitted and stored securely, including by the providers we rely on to run Stopover — such as our hosting and database providers — who handle it only as far as operating the service requires. We also collect pseudonymous usage analytics — pages and feature events tied to a random device id, never your name or email — to understand what's working. Your IP address is kept for up to 90 days for abuse prevention and debugging, then reduced to a network prefix.
Your bookings. Your booking confirmation numbers and other booking specifics are never shared.
Travel details. Flight schedules, prices, seat availability, and hotel details come from outside sources and change fast. We work to keep them current, but treat anything you see in Stopover as a starting point, not a guarantee — always confirm with the airline or hotel before you book. Stopover doesn't sell travel or process bookings.
Using Stopover. Use it to plan your own trips. Don't scrape it, hit it with automated requests, resell access, or otherwise abuse the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Sharing a trip. When you create a share link, anyone who has that link can view the trip — there's no password. Share it only with people you want to see it, and use Stop sharing when you're done.
Email. We'll send you the emails you need about your account and your trips. We may also send the occasional update about new features, changes, or promotions.
The service. Stopover is offered as-is and is still in beta, so features can change and the service can have downtime. We're not responsible for losses that come from data errors, interruptions, or relying on Stopover instead of confirming details yourself. You can export any trip at any time — keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Changes. We may update these terms as Stopover grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the page and the date below. Using Stopover after that means you're okay with the change.
